For new developments and refurbishment projects, our Fire Engineering team works alongside architects and design teams to develop proportionate fire safety solutions that meet regulatory requirements while supporting the wider design objectives of the project.
For existing buildings, we can review and document fire safety arrangements through retrospective fire strategies and undertake detailed assessments to identify potential risks and areas requiring improvement. This includes Fire Risk Assessments, intrusive and non-intrusive fire door and compartmentation surveys, and specialist assessments of external wall construction.
Where concerns exist about the external walls of residential buildings, our experienced consultants undertake FRAEWs in accordance with PAS 9980, providing a structured assessment of the risk of fire spread across the external wall. Where required for mortgage lending and valuation purposes, we can also provide EWS1 assessments and forms.
