Overview
Anstey Horne’s fire engineering team provides design support across a wide range of building types. We support projects throughout the lifecycle, from early planning, incorporating London Plan requirements where applicable, through all RIBA stages, including Building Safety Act Gateway 1, 2 and 3.
We further assist in the remedial design of external wall systems, including the issue of EWS1 certificates. Additional areas of expertise include the provision of retrospective fire strategy reports, cause and effects witnessing/testing, defects monitoring, expert witness, CMT support and performance based analysis using advanced computational modelling.
Why Choose Anstey Horne?
At Anstey Horne, we are aligned with the necessary regulatory and cultural change currently taking place in the fire safety industry, with greater accountability, collaboration, competence and commonality of vision in serving the best interests of society.
We are proactively engaging across the industry and academia in the collective conversation surrounding the formalisation of competency as well as the definition of the fundamental role of a fire engineer in being responsible for integrating multidisciplinary components into a whole building approach and thereby upholding fire safety across all building types and uses.
Our approach to fire safety further emphasises providing options and engaging stakeholders – thereby allowing flexibility in design; combined with our team’s technical level of knowledge and ethical decision making, this also ensures the surest route to on time project delivery and approvals.
