Rickie Bloom

I am a Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) and Senior Director in the Party Wall & Neighbourly Matters team at Anstey Horne, with more than 15 years’ experience advising on party wall and neighbourly matters across London and the South East. I specialise in complex commercial and high-value residential developments, providing clear, practical advice on the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, boundary disputes, access licences and wider neighbourly issues. I also regularly act as an expert witness, helping clients manage risk, protect project programmes, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. I am known for navigating technically challenging situations while fostering constructive dialogue between all parties.

Alongside my technical work, I play a key leadership role within the business, supporting the growth of Anstey Horne’s Party Wall & Neighbourly Matters service and mentoring the next generation of surveyors.

Away from work, music has always been a passion. At 16, I was a member of a band that later evolved into We Are The Ocean and went on to achieve commercial success. Today, I am a committed metal head and love all things guitars, drums, gaming, and family life with my wife, two children and Great Dane, Atlas.
