I joined Anstey Horne in May 2015, when we were a close-knit team of around 50 people. Since then, we have grown significantly—expanding our services, almost tripling in size, and operating nationwide.
I joined the Board in July 2023 and now lead our Rights of Light team alongside Rebecca. My work focuses on natural light in the built environment, covering Rights of Light through the courts as well as daylight, sunlight, and solar panel considerations within the planning process.
My route into the built environment started with studying architecture at the University of Manchester, followed by an MSc in Light and Lighting at UCL, where I developed a deeper interest in how light shapes buildings. I still enjoy returning to lecture and collaborate on research.
At home, I answer to my partner Lily, our daughter Rhea, and our dog Otto, a Bedlington Whippet who often has far too much to say. Running and cycling help me clear my head and build connections across the industry.
