After two gap years travelling in Europe, Asia, and Australasia, I went on to study Physical Geography at UCL where I developed a strong interest in the relationship between the natural and built environments. Following graduation I joined a consultancy as a flood risk analyst and unexpectedly found myself working in the daylight and sunlight team. In October 2018, I joined Anstey Horne and now have extensive experience advising on both rights of light and daylight and sunlight, working on a wide range of schemes from single-storey residential extensions to large-scale master plans of up to 3,500 homes.
Outside of work, I enjoy coastal walks and use Strava far too enthusiastically for someone who hasn’t been for a run since lockdown. I also enjoy dog sitting and reading, which I’ve recently returned to since my childhood obsession with Harry Potter. I am looking forward to revisiting the wizarding world when the TV series is released in 2027!
