BSc (Hons) MRICS AaPS
Director | Project Management
Manchester

I grew up in Bolton and graduated with a BSc in Building Surveying from the University of Salford in 1993. After gaining experience in London and the South, I returned to Manchester in 1995 and became a Chartered Surveyor in 1996. Over the past 30 years, I have worked primarily in the private sector with a range of leading firms.

My career has combined technical expertise with leadership. Since moving into management in 2004, I have held local, regional, and national roles covering operations, strategy, business development, marketing, client relationships, and people management.

Technically, I have delivered a wide range of surveying and project management services across multiple sectors, working with major public and private organisations. This has included instructions from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, The BBC, ITV, AXA, British Telecom, Royal London, and Homes England, to name a few.

More recently, I have specialised in building safety, carrying out forensic assessments and managing remediation projects to address compliance and life-safety issues in residential buildings following the Grenfell tragedy.

Outside work, I enjoy family time, DIY projects, kayaking, exploring the UK, music, fishing, and learning about science, technology, politics, and current affairs.
