Charlie Powell

After a career change, I studied Building Surveying at the University of Salford and have since built my career in the North-West, working with a number of leading consultancies.

My surveying experience spans residential, commercial, education, industrial, and mixed-use developments. I have delivered project management, contract administration, building pathology, and dilapidations services, advising both landlords and tenants on a broad range of property and construction matters.

As a Director here in the Specialist Surveying & Compliance team, we focus on external wall systems, building safety, and regulatory compliance. I regularly advise clients on façade remediation, PAS 9980 assessments, EWS1 certifications, and Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEW) across high-rise and higher-risk residential buildings throughout the UK.

Outside of work, I enjoy Skiing, CrossFit, running, and spending time outdoors with my dog, Monty. I am also a keen DIY enthusiast and can usually be found working on a project around the house.
